JORDAN BRAND | AJXXXI "ANTI-GRAVITY MACHINES"

Jordan Brand was extremely excited about the potential of the Air Jordan XXXI. The Air Jordan XXXI was inspired by the Air Jordan I - one of the most beloved basketball shoes of all-time. Inspired in design by the AJI, the AJXXXI was also inspired by the AJI’s nick name, "Anti-Gravity Machines". This moniker served as the driving force for all things AJXXXI. With this campaign, we wanted to show the world the beauty of flight and that the AJXXXI was the only way to reach new heights.

Whether we know it or not, there are always forces out there working against us. Trying to ground us. But, until someone or something comes along and decides to fight the forces that are trying to keep us down, forces like gravity, we will always be grounded. In today’s game, the AJXXXI aka the "Anti-Gravity Machine" is the thing we need to fight the forces. And these two guys - Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard - armed with the AJXXXI as their weapons, are the ones to do it fighting gravity in their own unique and beautiful way.
