APPLE MUSIC | SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW TRAILER

We were given the unique challenge of launching Apple Music’s first-ever Super Bowl Halftime Show partnership. Beyond the brand partnership, this year marked a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate one of the most anticipated moments in recent musical memory: the return of Rihanna after more than 7 years away. The task was to create a trailer that would build anticipation for the first ever Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show and reintroduce Rihanna to the stage after a 7 year hiatus. After years away for the spotlight, the media was beginning to speculate that Rihanna may need return to music. We flipped the press narrative on its head by directly leveraging the actual voices of those who claimed she would never come back. This trailer confidently presented Rihanna as the creative force she is, and effectively silenced the noise surrounding her return.

SPATIAL AUDIO
In anticipation to the show, Rihanna’s entire catalog was re-released in Spatial Audio, only on Apple Music.
We created a campaign that visually conveyed the immersive feeling of hearing her music with 360 sound.
